Our Kimchi Story
Jina Kimchi began as a family experiment to create the tastiest, most authentic kimchi in the UK. We started in our Wiltshire kitchen, and soon local farm shops and Asian food markets came calling. Before long, we’d expanded across the South—to London, Birmingham, Bristol and beyond.
Now, due to customer demand, we’re bringing our handmade kimchi to you. Shop online and get proper, live kimchi delivered anywhere in the UK.

HI I'M JINA
After living in Korea, I moved to the UK with my family. We tried buying kimchi in regular supermarkets, but my children wouldn’t touch it. Factory‑made and pasteurised just isn’t real, live kimchi.
Kimchi in a plastic pot—or even a bag—doesn’t do it justice.
So I started making it myself here in Wiltshire, using imported ingredients like Korean chilli and local produce - using the recipe passed down by our Korean Grandma. Pretty soon friends and family were asking for more. Then a shop in Bath wanted to stock my kimchi, and from there it just grew.
